About Us
DQ Construction Inc. was founded by Tristan Kerr in 2019. He began his career in the trades at the age of 17, building his own recording studio and polishing his carpentry skills through residential renovation projects. After graduating from high school, Tristan continued working as an independent contractor while earning an advanced diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, as well as a graduate certificate in Construction Estimating.
At the age of 22, he began his career as a Project Analyst, Project Manager, and Portfolio Manager for various commercial projects and maintenance programs across Canada – working directly with major retailers like The Home Depot, Old Navy, RH, and more. Tristan has continued to work in the trades throughout his career, taking on many hybrid roles within the construction industry. His dedication, commitment, vision, and passion led him to start his business journey during the pandemic.
Our aim is not to fit in, we're trying to shake things up in the industry and contribute to the advancement of construction technology.
